Ascent: The Proof Is In The Marketplace (And On The Wall)

 

While I’ve stepped down from my board position at Ascent, I cannot say enough nice things about the board and management team I leave behind.

 

I am so very proud of all we accomplished together. I was with this company since inception and we proved ourselves to the marketplace beating the S&P by 15x. Now that is performance.

 

You can’t spin the marketplace—Wall Street gives you your grade for all to see. It’s undeniable, it’s visible and it’s beyond nerve wracking. It also can be very rewarding.

 

I will miss the team at Ascent. As a parting gift, they gave me a framed certificate of one of their first shares. I’ll look at it everyday as a reminder that proof is in the marketplace.
